About Us
Crystal H. Carlic with husband, Tony Carlic, & daughter, Madison.
Crystal H. Carlic, Founder of Upcountry Lifestyle and Owner of Crystal Clear Virtual Marketing & Consulting, LLC., is currently attending SNHU-Online to obtain a BA in Creative Writing/Journalism with a Minor in Entrepreneurship. Crystal has been active in local media for nearly two decades. She is skilled at marketing, advertising, journalism, and photography. Crystal previously worked as Director of Sponsor Relations at Grice Connect in Statesboro, GA, where she studied news publishing under mentor DeWayne Grice.
Crystal and Upcountry Lifestyle are members of the Abbeville Area Chamber of Commerce, Anderson Chamber of Commerce and McCormick County SC Chamber & Visitor's Center.

She is a recipient of a 2023 Communicator Award of Distinction for writing a feature article about the Honor Flight for Veterans. Crystal is married to Navy Veteran, Tony Carlic who served twenty years on various nuclear submarines. She has a deep love for gathering the stories of people who make a difference in the lives of others. She realized her talent for journalism and love of writing in 2020 while publishing a new magazine in Greenwood, SC.

The Carlic's have lived in South Carolina since 2016, and are current residents in Abbeville, County. Crystal's ancestors were Irish Immigrants who settled in Abbeville. Her fifth great-grandfather was a patriot in the Revolutionary War, and he was a founding member of Greenville Presbyterian Church.
Crystal is proud of her heritage and the sacrifices that her ancestors made so that future generations, such as herself and her daughter can live this beautiful life today.
